Dr. Petrov awarded NIH grant

Alex Petrov has been awarded an R21 grant from the National Institute of Health (NIH). The project is titled “A Computational Cognitive Neuroscience Model of Complex Perceptual Skill Learning” and the award is for $225,000 (direct costs) over two years.

This opens up an exciting collaboration with Dr. Todd Maddox (University of Texas at Austin) for the development and testing of the Dual-Process Model of Perceptual Learning (DIMPLE).
